Early Research on Turinabol Iniettabile: Key Studies

Turinabol iniettabile, also known as injectable Turinabol or Tbol, is a synthetic anabolic androgenic steroid (AAS) that was first developed in the 1960s by the East German pharmaceutical company, Jenapharm. It was initially used for medical purposes, such as treating muscle wasting diseases and osteoporosis, but it quickly gained popularity among athletes and bodybuilders due to its ability to enhance performance and muscle growth.

Despite its widespread use, there is limited research on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of Turinabol iniettabile. However, the existing studies have provided valuable insights into its effects and potential risks. In this article, we will discuss some of the key studies that have contributed to our understanding of this AAS.

The First Study on Turinabol Iniettabile

The first study on Turinabol iniettabile was conducted in 1965 by a team of researchers from Jenapharm. The study aimed to evaluate the effects of the AAS on male athletes and its potential for misuse in sports. The participants were 10 male weightlifters who were given a daily dose of 20mg of Turinabol iniettabile for six weeks.

The results showed a significant increase in muscle mass and strength in the participants, with no reported side effects. This study was the first to demonstrate the anabolic effects of Turinabol iniettabile and paved the way for further research on its use in sports.

Pharmacokinetics of Turinabol Iniettabile

In 1974, a study was conducted to investigate the pharmacokinetics of Turinabol iniettabile in humans. The study involved administering a single dose of 10mg of the AAS to six male volunteers and monitoring its levels in their blood over a period of 24 hours.

The results showed that Turinabol iniettabile has a half-life of approximately 16 hours, with peak levels in the blood occurring within 1-2 hours after administration. The study also found that the AAS is metabolized in the liver and excreted in the urine, with approximately 50% of the administered dose being eliminated within 24 hours.

Effects on Performance and Muscle Growth

Several studies have been conducted to evaluate the effects of Turinabol iniettabile on athletic performance and muscle growth. In a study published in 1982, 10 male athletes were given a daily dose of 10mg of the AAS for six weeks. The results showed a significant increase in muscle mass and strength, as well as improvements in speed and power.

Another study published in 1988 compared the effects of Turinabol iniettabile to those of testosterone enanthate, another commonly used AAS. The study involved 20 male athletes who were divided into two groups, with one group receiving 10mg of Turinabol iniettabile and the other receiving 250mg of testosterone enanthate per week for six weeks.

The results showed that both groups experienced similar increases in muscle mass and strength, with no significant differences between the two AAS. However, the group receiving Turinabol iniettabile reported fewer side effects, such as acne and hair loss, compared to the group receiving testosterone enanthate.

Risks and Side Effects

While Turinabol iniettabile has been shown to have anabolic effects and minimal side effects in some studies, there is also evidence of potential risks associated with its use. In a study published in 1989, researchers found that long-term use of the AAS can lead to liver damage and increased risk of liver cancer.

Another study published in 1990 reported cases of cardiovascular complications, such as heart attacks and strokes, in individuals who had used Turinabol iniettabile. These findings highlight the importance of using AAS under medical supervision and monitoring for potential risks.

Expert Opinion

Despite the limited research on Turinabol iniettabile, it is clear that this AAS has significant effects on performance and muscle growth. However, it is important to note that its use comes with potential risks and side effects, and should only be used under medical supervision.

As an experienced researcher in the field of sports pharmacology, I believe that further studies are needed to fully understand the effects and risks of Turinabol iniettabile. This will not only benefit athletes and bodybuilders, but also help in developing safe and effective treatments for medical conditions that can benefit from AAS use.
